3 years agoWashington Football Team safety Landon Collins (Achilles) will participate in the team's first preseason game against the New England Patriots, just nine months after tearing his Achilles. For an injury that takes up to 12 months to fully heal, it is quite surprising that Collins was able to be cleared so quickly. "They gave me nine to 12 months," Collins said. "I came back in seven and a half months." Collins will return to what projects to be one of the best defensive units in the NFL once again. If he can return to the level of play that we saw from him when he was a member of the New York Giants, the Washington defense will wreak havoc on their opposition.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
