3 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Lane Thomas attempted to steal twice Wednesday, and was successful on one occasion, swiping his fourth base of the year. He was also caught for the third time. He went 0-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in the game. Thomas has been excellent since joining the Nationals, slashing .300/.380/.500 in 80 at-bats as the everyday leadoff hitter. He doesn't have much high-end upside, but fantasy managers will find him worthy of a roster spot for as long as he stays hot.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
