2 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers plan to waive running back Larry Rountree III after they signed Sony Michel on Wednesday, according to a source. Rountree was a former sixth-round pick last year, and he saw only 36 carries for 87 yards and one touchdown in 12 games in his rookie season in 2021. He was entering the 2022 season buried on the Bolts running back depth chart behind Austin Ekeler, Joshua Kelley and rookie Isaiah Spiller.
