6 years agoWashington Capitals center Lars Eller (lower body) exited Friday's game against the Calgary Flames due to an undisclosed lower-body injury and he was unable to return. He picked up an assist, a plus-1 rating and a blocked shot while posting four SOG before departing. The source and severity of his injury is not yet known. If Eller is forced to the shelf it could mean more playing time for Nic Dowd, and Travis Boyd could draw into the lineup. The Capitals are back at it on Sunday afternoon against the Boston Bruins.--Daniel Dobish
