Latavius Murray Held To 25 Scrimmage Yards In Loss
5 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Latavius Murray picked up 21 rushing yards on five carries and caught one of two targets for four yards in a 26-20 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Murray finishes his season with a disappointing effort, though it ended up being a pretty good year for the 29-year-old. He enjoyed two games as the starter with Alvin Kamara injured, as he proceeded to explode for over 150 scrimmage yards in both games. For the year, Murray posted a career-high 4.4 yards per carry and scored at least five times for the fifth straight year. He and Kamara could potentially benefit from a more run-heavy approach in 2020, as Drew Brees nears his 41st birthday.
