Latavius Murray Lays An Egg In NFC Title Game
7 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Latavius Murray totaled only 29 all-purpose yards as the Vikings were bounced from the playoffs by the Eagles 38-7. Murray saw only six carries in the game for 18 yards, his lowest carry total since September 24th. Turnovers really took the Vikings out of their game plan and Murray never had a chance to get going. Murray came on slowly this season and never got a true opportunity until rookie standout Dalvin Cook tore his ACL. Once given the chance, Murray put up eight rushing touchdowns, 842 yards and had eight games of 68 rushing yards or more. Murray may struggle to repeat those numbers next year with Cook re-entering the mix but certainly has helped his value heading into the offseason.
