4 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Latavius Murray carried the ball eight times for 34 rushing yards and caught both targets for 23 receiving yards in a win over the Chargers. Murray has now exceeded 50 scrimmage yards in three of five games, along with two touchdowns. The veteran back has looked good this year and would easily be a top-10 option if something were to happen to Alvin Kamara. There will even be some weeks- like Week 4 against Detroit- where Murray has flex value, considering the coaching staff clearly trusts him. A post-bye week matchup with the Panthers' terrible run defense could be one of those weeks.--Tim Capurso
