Latavius Murray Plods For 48 Rushing Yards
4 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Latavius Murray had a forgettable game in a Week 1 win over the Buccaneers. Murray carried the ball 15 times but picked up just 48 rushing yards, as Tampa Bay's strong front picked up where they left off last year. Fortunately, the 30-year-old retained his role in the offense from 2019, where he saw 10+ touches a game. Don't expect Murray to out-touch Alvin Kamara on the ground every game, though the former could have some standalone fantasy value in the right matchup. That might be next week against Oakland, who allowed a total of 128 rushing yards to the Panthers.
