5 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Latavius Murray had just seven yards on five carries during the loss to the Rams on Sunday. Though the veteran was virtually a non-factor, the rest of the Saints’ offense was nowhere to be found either as the team was forced to deal with the loss of Drew Brees, who will miss at least six weeks with a thumb injury. Murray will have his off games, just like he did in Minnesota, but will still come in handy for those in a pinch as he still serves as an efficient goal-line option for New Orleans.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
