Laviska Shenault Jr. Tallies Just One Catch Against Tennessee
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. caught one of his three targets for 58 yards in a 37-19 Week 5 loss to the Titans. While it was nice to see the second-year wideout break a big play on the 58-yard completion, the lack of targets was concerning, and he wasn't on the field in most of the team's two wide receiver sets. Shenault will be hard to trust on a weekly basis if he continues to be left off the field in those formations. There is a chance that head coach Urban Meyer smartens up sooner rather than later and makes the correction, as Tavon Austin and Jamal Agnew are clearly not suited for outside duties, but that's very speculative at this point in time. Shenault should be considered a middling WR4 with a wide range of outcomes going forward.
