3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars ascending second-year wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. could well be Trevor Lawrence's go-to option in 2021 based on his performance in training camp. Brian Sexton of Jaguars.com had this to say about Shenault following Monday's practice — "he looks so smooth and comfortable that I can't help but think he might be the go-to receiver for rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence." Shenault projects to operate closer to the line of scrimmage than D.J. Chark or Marvin Jones Jr., so it's sensible to project him as the team's target leader in 2021. Reports indicate that Shenault is being moved around the formation quite a bit as well, so he could mix in more deep routes than he ran as a rookie. Shenault's excellent work in the offseason and in training camp has been well chronicled, and he's looking more and more like a solid WR3 with upside as we draw closer to week one.--Casey Kamholz
