3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. is a low upside WR5 play against New England in Week 17. Shenault was on the Covid list last week, but he's set to return in a tough matchup. The Patriots have allowed the NFL's fourth-fewest PPR points to opposing wideouts this season, and Jacksonville has a pathetic 12.5 point team total in the game, so expectations should be lowered. While the second-year wideout's symptoms from Covid-19 or the lack thereof are not known, it's also worth noting that some players have struggled recently in their first game after coming off of the Covid list. Overall, Shenault lacks ceiling in a big way this week and his floor isn't high enough to justify starting him as anything other than a desperation play.--Casey Kamholz
