6 years agoDetroit Lions running back LeGarrette Blount (shoulder) and defensive end Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder) are expected to play in Week 2 against the 49ers. Blount was rarely used in the opener, but the Lions were also down big for most of the game. Expect him to be more actively used in this one, but his between-the-tackles role just isn't very attractive to fantasy owners with rookie Kerryon Johnson and third-down back Theo Riddick having more upside, especially in PPR leagues. Ansah should help bolster a pretty weak Lions pass rush. If he plays, it'll be bad news for Niners quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
