6 years agoEdmonton Oilers center Leon Draisaitl registered the game-winning goal in overtime on Monday night against the New York Rangers and he finished with two assists and a plus-one rating. Draisaitl is up to 42 goals and 89 points, and he has posted at least one point in 14 consecutive outings. The German pivot has 10 goals and 23 points with a plus-4 rating during the impressive 14-game run. All-Star Connor McDavid also had a goal and an assist for the Oilers, as the dynamic duo continue to do whatever is in their power to keep Edmonton's flickering and bleak playoff chances alive. Next up for the Oil is a home date with the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday night.--Daniel Dobish
