Leon Draisaitl Wins Hart Trophy, Ted Lindsay Award
4 years agoEdmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl was named the winner of the Hart Trophy as the most valuable player for the 2019-20 NHL season. The 24-year-old also received the Ted Lindsay Award as the most outstanding player, which is voted by the NHL Players' Association. Draisaitl had a phenomenal season in which he recorded a league-leading 110 points (43 goals, 67 assists), and an NHL-best 44 power-play points to go along with 33 multi-point performances prior to the shutdown. The Oilers forward has now totaled consecutive 40+ goal and 100+ point seasons, making the German forward a clear-cut first-round selection across all fantasy formats heading into the 2020-21 season.
