4 years agoIn one of Saturday night's most anticipated bouts, Leon Edwards took four of five rounds from Nick Diaz to clinch a unanimous-decision victory. Though the fight was the third from the top, it was a five-round fight. President Dana White explained it best, saying both fighters wanted a five-round battle. The striking numbers were extremely close, with Edwards landing 77 significant strikes compared to Diaz's 76. Aside from a close call in the fifth round, Edwards looked to be very much in control of the contest.
