4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette will appear in a new uniform for Week 1 of the 2020 season after being surprisingly released by the Jacksonville Jaguars last week. Always known as a workhorse back in the NFL, Fournette will have to fight with Ronald Jones II for that role in Tampa. Still getting acclimated to his new team's system, Fournette will not have that role to begin the season. Head coach Bruce Arians made it clear the newly signed back will have a role for this week's bout against the Saints, though it's important to note New Orleans did allow the fifth-fewest fantasy points to backs last season. At this point, Fournette could play a bigger role in the passing game, but only time will help tell what his role on this team will be in the long run. For now, consider him a flex play in Week 1, as he should see some playing time based on what Arians said.--Rishi Patel - RotoBaller
