5 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette should be in for a strong season debut when he faces the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1. The Chiefs allowed the sixth-most rushing yards per game in 2018 and the second-most yards per carry. While Fournette's outlook over his first two seasons was clouded at times by the presence of third-down back T.J. Yeldon, the Jaguars expect to use Fournette on most downs this year, with newly-acquired running back Tyler Ervin best fitting the mold of a third-down back but not expected to be used nearly as much as Yeldon has been.
