Leonard Fournette Is Part Of Jaguars Plans

4 years agoAfter failing to find a trade for him before the NFL Draft, Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell says that running back Leonard Fournette is in the team's plans for 2020. Jacksonville declined Fournette's fifth-year option, so 2020 is likely the final year for Fournette in a Jags uniform, but as of now it looks he will play out the final year of that contract with the team. The recent addition of Chris Thompson means that Fournette is unlikely to repeat last year's passing-game performance when he had a career-high 76 receptions on 100 targets, but he'll remain an early down bruiser and should be considered an RB2 instead of an RB1 moving forward.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
