2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette rushed for 20 yards on five attempts while catching both of his targets for six yards in Saturday's 13-3 preseason loss to the Tennessee Titans. He drew the start and saw action on the team's first three drives. The 27-year-old reportedly showed up to minicamp overweight but has been a standout in training camp. According to head coach Todd Bowles, Fournette looked as fast and explosive as ever, and his conditioning hasn't been an issue. He rushed for 812 yards on 180 attempts and eight touchdowns while catching 69 of 84 targets for 454 yards and two scores in 14 games for the Bucs in 2021. The former first-round pick is expected to be available for the team's final preseason game next Saturday against the Indianapolis Colts.
