7 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Leonys Martin (illness), who is dealing with a life-threatening bacterial infection, is unlikely to play again this season. Martin played in just six games with the Tribe after being acquired from Detroit at the deadline. His injury leaves the Indians thin in the outfield, but Greg Allen has mostly been manning center field and should continue to do so with Martin out indefinitely.
