6 years agoBuffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy has struggled both on and off the field this season, which may lead to the team dumping him sometime before next season. McCoy, who came off the bench for the first time since 2010 as a result of a spat with coach Sean McDermott in Week 16, has accumulated 20 yards from scrimmage over the last two games. He has also posted 100 rushing yards once this season and reached the end zone twice, although both of the scores came in the same game. Not only is his 3.2 yards per carry the worst in his career, it is lower than teammates Marcus Murphy (4.8) along with Keith Ford (3.8) and Chris Ivory's (3.4) marks. While it would likely be difficult for the Bills to part ways with the sixth-time Pro Bowler, who is under contract in 2019, it is likely necessary for the team to improve as the 30-year-old has slowed down considerably this year. If they do part ways with McCoy, the Bills will have to find a feature back in free agency or in the Draft. For the time being, fantasy owners should not play McCoy in Week 17 as the Bills will likely give undrafted rookie Keith Ford a long look versus the Dolphins.--Daniel Benjamin
