4 years agoChicago White Sox utility man Leury Garcia is dealing with leg tightness, but could be available off the bench on Thursday versus the Kansas City Royals. It comes at a bad time as Garcia was filling in for Tim Anderson (hamstring) at shortstop. The good news is that it doesn't seem too serious. Garcia may still remain in the lineup when Anderson returns and that could be as early as a week from now. He could also see some time in left field with outfielders Eloy Jimenez (pectoral) and Billy Hamilton (hamstring) sidelined. Garcia can be avoided for now in deeper leagues. Infielder Danny Mendick will replace Garcia in Thursday's lineup and bat ninth. Mendick should be avoided in all formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
