Le'Veon Bell Confident A Deal Will Get Done
7 years agoPittsburgh Steelers impending free-agent running back Le'Veon Bell spoke confidently Friday about the potential of reaching a long-term contract with the team, and the two sides are closer than they were to a deal than last year. Bell said a multi-year deal is about the guaranteed money. Last year, he turned down a deal that would have paid him $30 million in the first two years of the deal. Slapping the franchise tag on Bell for the second straight year would cost Pittsburgh around $14.5 million. One way or another, we'd expect Pittsburgh to get something done with Bell to keep him around. As versatile a running back as ever, Bell is an elite RB1 and should once again be in consideration for the No. 1 overall fantasy pick in 2018.
