7 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Lewis Brinson (hip), who has been on the disabled list with right hip inflammation since July 4, is increasing weight-bearing activities and has been taking batting practice. Brinson should go on a minor league rehab assignment before he returns. The 24-year-old has hit an ugly .184 with 10 home runs and 30 RBI on the year.
