Lewis Brinson Recalled From Triple-A Jacksonville
3 years agoMiami Marlins center fielder Lewis Brinson was recalled from Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports. Brinson was placed on the injured list with a finger injury on May 18 and has shuttled between the Triple-A and the big-league club since the beginning of June. Even when Brinson returns to the Marlins full time, fantasy managers may want to steer away from the 27-year-old outfielder, as he has tallied only 14 hits in 63 at-bats this season. Once a promising prospect, he's failed to translate his tantalizing tools into consistent baseball skills. He has a career 49 wRC+ over parts of five seasons.
