4 years agoChicago White Sox closer Liam Hendriks worked a perfect ninth inning to pick up his ninth save of the season versus the Minnesota Twins. Hendriks pitched a clean frame and struck out two Twins in the process. Hendriks continues to put together an impressive season and remind managers why he was one of the first closers taken off of the board. The closer now owns a 2.50 ERA and has struck out 28 batters in 18 innings. Hendriks has pitched in consecutive games, but the White Sox have Thursday off and he should be available versus the New York Yankees on Friday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
