4 years agoChicago White Sox closer Liam Hendricks picked up his tenth save of the season in Tuesday's victory versus the St. Louis Cardinals. The White Sox were up 8-3 entering the top of the ninth inning, but reliever Garrett Crochet loaded the bases and that would lead manager Tony La Russa to turn to his closer. Hendriks came in and recorded three strikeouts to secure the save. Hendriks continues to have a great season for his new club and now owns a 2.41 ERA with 31 strikeouts in 18 innings.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
