3 years agoIt's likely a matter of time before Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady officially announces his retirement. Reports surfaced last Saturday that Brady was going to retire after 22 years in the NFL, but Brady's denials have been tentative. The 44-year-old has accomplished more than any single player in the history of the league, and with salary cap and roster issues for the Bucs going forward, as well as the uncertain futures of wide receiver Chris Godwin and tight end Rob Gronkowski, Brady could have a frustrating year in 2022 if he chose to return. On top of that, his family has been pulling him toward retirement for some time. One person who spoke to Brady after last week's loss to the Los Angeles Rams said: "He's done."
