2 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Tom Kennedy has been cut by the organization on Monday. This doesn't come as a surprise considering Kennedy had an uphill battle to begin the preseason. Despite that, Kennedy played well, hauling in 16 receptions for 143 yards and a couple of touchdowns. That still wasn't enough for the Lions to keep Kennedy on their roster. Possibly, he returns on the practice squad and catches on elsewhere. He doesn't have great upside, but has done enough to earn himself a spot on an NFL roster.
