3 years agoThe Detroit Lions re-signed quarterback David Blough to an undisclosed deal on Thursday, according to a source. Blough will compete for the backup job to Jared Goff with Tim Boyle and potentially a rookie in 2022. The 26-year-old played in just one game for the Lions last year and took one sack while not attempting a pass. He made five starts in Detroit in his rookie season in 2019 but hasn't started a game since. Blough has completed 100 of his 184 attempts for 1,033 yards, four touchdowns and seven interceptions in seven career games.
