3 years agoThe Detroit Lions re-signed veteran kicker Aldrick Rosas to a Reserve/Future contract on Tuesday. Rosas took over as Detroit's kicker in 2021 when they moved on from Austin Seibert, but Riley Patterson finished out the season as the team's placekicker. The 27-year-old Rosas and Patterson could be in a competition for the starting job in training camp this summer. In five games with the Lions and New Orleans Saints last year, Rosas made just two of his five field-goal attempts and made all 14 of his extra-point tries. Rosas played in just one game for Detroit in Week 11, making his only field-goal try and only extra point.
