4 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Ljay Newsome (elbow) exited Saturday's outing against Texas. The 24-year-old lasted only an inning and was pulled after suffering inflammation in his right elbow. The righty doesn't offer much of an upside, so fantasy managers likely won't lose any sleep if he ends up taking a trip to the 10-day injured list, especially after posting a miserable 5.83 ERA throughout his career.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
