4 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Logan Allen had a rough day in Wednesday's 10-2 loss to the Minnesota Twins as he only managed to go 1 1/3 innings pitched while allowing six earned runs on five hits and two walks. Most knew it was going to be a short outing for Allen after he allowed three of the Twins' first four hitters to go yard off him and that is exactly how it went down as he was yanked with one out in the second inning. Allen now has a horrendous 9.19 ERA across 15 2/3 innings pitched. This was likely the last start for Allen for quite some time as he was optioned to the Indians' alternate training site after the game.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
