7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder Logan Forsythe (shoulder) is going on the 10-day DL due to right shoulder inflammation. Recent acquisition Breyvic Valera will be called up to take his place. Forsythe left last night's game in the sixth inning before taking the field. There's no word on how severe his injury is yet. He's not really valuable in fantasy baseball, but was guaranteed real-world playing time due to Justin Turner's injury. Valera was traded from the Cardinals for Johan Mieses earlier this month. Valera is an on-base machine, posting an identical OBP of .417 at Triple-A this season and last. He also stole eleven bases across two minor league levels in 2017. He's worth keeping an eye on, especially if they slot him anywhere near the top of the lineup.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
