3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Logan Gilbert was tasked with a tough matchup Saturday, facing the Houston Astros, and he did not manage to rise to the occasion, allowing nine runs on eight hits and a walk in 4 2/3 innings. He struck out five batters. Gilbert now has two consecutive disappointing starts, but it's important to note that those starts came against the two best offenses in the majors in the Astros and the Blue Jays. Gilbert remains an excellent talent, with plenty of value in redraft leagues and even more in keeper and dynasty formats.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
