3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Logan Gilbert was on his game Tuesday, tossing five scoreless innings in a tough matchup against the Houston Astros. He gave up four hits and no walks and struck out four batters. He didn't factor into the decision. Still, it's an excellent bounce-back outing for Gilbert, who had given up 19 runs in 12 2/3 innings over his last three starts. In fact, manager Scott Servais said this was the best Gilbert has looked all season. He'll look to improve on his 5.14 ERA his next time out, and fantasy managers should choose his spots wisely despite the strong effort.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
