Logan Gilbert Inefficient Tuesday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Logan Gilbert was decently effective against the division-leading Houston Astros Tuesday, allowing just two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out five batters, but a high-pitch count limited him to just 4 1/3 innings. He took a no-decision in the contest. This makes two consecutive strong outings in terms of run prevention, but with just four quality starts in 20 times out this season, his potential is more tantalizing than his utility for now. He's a streaming option in deep leagues, and a strong investment in keeper and dynasty formats.
