3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Logan Gilbert didn't make it out of the third inning against the Oakland Athletics Saturday night, giving up three runs on five hits and a walk with five strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings. Gilbert was inefficient with his pitches in this one, reaching a pitch count of 75 to record those eight outs. Fantasy managers can still count on him going forward, as he's only allowed more than three earned runs twice in the first 12 starts of his young career, racking up 67 strikeouts in 56 2/3 innings along the way.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
