7 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman/designated hitter Logan Morrison (gluteus) is on the road to recovery after straining his glute on Wednesday while sliding in a spring training game. Morrison told manager Paul Molitor that he is improving, but the team plans to be cautious with Morrison and will most likely hold him out of action on Friday and Saturday. The good news is the injury doesn't sound serious, so Morrison should be back in action sooner rather than later. Veteran Chris Heisey is taking Morrison's spot as the team's DH on Friday and is batting eighth.--Matt T - RotoBaller
