Logan Morrison Reaches 10 Homers
6 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman Logan Morrison went 2-for-4 with two runs and a solo homer in his team's 5-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday. The homer gives Morrison 10 on the season, marking the fifth straight season he has reached double digits in homers. It has been a disappointing first season in Minnesota for Morrison, who is batting just .194 with 32 runs and 30 RBI. The Twins are expected to be sellers at the trade deadline and Morrison is someone who they would probably look to move, although he might not draw much interest due to his poor performance this season. He will look to leave the yard again on Friday when he takes on Orioles starter Dylan Bundy. Morrison has a .312/.353/.750 slash line and two homers in 16 career at-bats against Bundy.
