4 years agoDefensive back Logan Ryan signed a one-year deal worth $7.5 million Monday, reuniting him with head coach Joe Judge, who knew Ryan during his tenure with the Patriots from 2013-16. Ryan’s addition could help the New York secondary immensely as he made a career-high 113 combined tackles last season with Tennessee. Likely to slot into the free safety spot with Jabril Peppers at the strong safety position, the Giants now boast a fearsome back end of their defense. The move likely doesn’t bump New York into season-long contention, but the unit has some significant DFS appeal due to their talent and turnover potential.--Jesse Borek
