Logan Thomas Catches Five Passes
3 years agoWashington Football Team tight end Logan Thomas caught five passes for 45 yards on Thursday night in the 30-29 win over the New York Giants. Thomas finished with just 39 yards last week, so he could be a touchdown-dependent tight end moving forward if his yardage total stays similar to the past two games. Seven targets is a good sign for his usage, especially considering how shallow the tight end position is. Ricky Seals-Jones found the endzone in this game, which is obviously frustrating for anyone who started Thomas. The good sign is the offense seems that it will be just fine with Taylor Heinicke as the starting quarterback, as he racked up 336 passing yards. Going forward, the 30-year-old remains a mid-to-low end TE1 for fantasy managers and should be started on a weekly basis because of his secure role in the offense.
