3 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley said after Monday night's game that the long layoff has affected him after suffering an ankle injury all the way back in Week 5. "It's just a little frustrating to have to sit out again and feel like how I was in Week 1," Barkley said. He mentioned he will do whatever it takes to get back up to speed, so it may take him another couple of games to look like his usual self that he put on display in Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints. The former second-overall pick wasn't given a full workload in his first game back, but an encouraging sign was that he played the majority of snaps over Devontae Booker. He has a favorable schedule down the stretch, so he should be more than capable of regaining his value as a fantasy RB1 in the next couple of weeks.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
