6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates right fielder Lonnie Chisenhall (hand) isn't available in the team's final spring training game against the Astros on Tuesday. He was hit by a pitch in Monday's contest and was immediately pulled from the game for precaution. Chisenhall had a history of injuries in his time with the Indians but was brought to Pittsburgh to start while Gregory Polanco works his way back from shoulder surgery. The team is optimistic he will be ready but if he is forced to miss any time, either Melky Cabrera or Pablo Reyes will likely step into his spot. Regardless, if Chisenhall is ready to go or not, he shouldn't be rostered in anything other than deep NL-only formats as his long-term value is limited.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
