Lorenzo Cain Gets Third Consecutive Two-Hit Game
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain went 2-for-5 with one run and two RBI in the 12-4 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. Cain has been quite inconsistent this year, entering two huge hitting slumps where he was batting under .200 in a seven-game stretch. However, he looks to be entering another hot streak. He has successfully gotten two hits in his last three games, putting him up to a .296 batting average in his last seven games. On the year, he's now hitting .284 with 37 runs, seven home runs, 20 RBI, 11 stolen bases and an .825 OPS in 218 at-bats. He is one of the best leadoff hitters in baseball and will continue to provide solid contact, runs and stolen bases for owners.
