4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain has opted out of the 2020 season due to concerns related to COVID-19. This is a crushing blow to the Brewers and fantasy owners who were looking for a bounceback from Cain after a subpar 2019 season. Cain was off to a solid start in 2020, batting .333 in 18 at-bats with a .429 on-base percentage and two RBI. Outfielder Ben Gamel is likely to see regular playing time with Cain now sitting out the remainder of the 2020 season.
