3 years agoNew York Giants pass-rusher Lorenzo Carter is expected to sign an undisclosed one-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons on Monday, according to a source. Carter registered five sacks in his last four games, so the Falcons are hoping he can pick up where he left off in 2022. The 26-year-old was drafted by the Giants in the third round in 2018 out of Georgia, and he has 153 tackles (94 solo), 21 tackles for loss, 35 QB hits, one interception, 15 passes defensed, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and 14.5 sacks in his four seasons in New York. Carter also had 50 tackles (28 solo), six tackles for loss, eight QB hits, one interception, five passes defensed, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 14 starts in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
