3 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Lou Trivino pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn his eighth save of the season Saturday at the Rockies. Trivino allowed a hit and picked up a strikeout to preserve a 6-3 win for the visitors. At this point, manager Bob Melvin has made it apparent he doesn't have one, clear-cut closer as Trivino and Jake Diekman each have at least six saves. Fantasy managers should expect the A's to continue to play the matchups as the righty Trivino and the lefty Diekman should each earn saves based on who is due up for the opposition.
