3 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Lou Trivino picked up the final four outs on Friday night to nail down the save against the Astros. Trivino allowed a hit and a walk, but also picked up a strikeout to earns his 22nd save. Trivino spent most of the season as the A's closer, but ran into a rough stretch in September and was removed from the role in favor of Andrew Chafin. This outing should ensure Trivino gets the next save chance if Oakland can earn one in the last two games of the season.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
